Overview

Erth Abu Dhabi, formerly the Armed Forces Officers Club & Hotel, is a five-star luxury resort in Abu Dhabi, located on Khor Al Maqta overlooking the Arabian Gulf and near the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. Established in 1997 and rebranded in 2021, Erth serves as a leading destination for business events, social gatherings, and leisure stays.

The resort offers 237 rooms, 42 suites, and 13 private villas, along with a Blue Flag-certified beach, an Olympic-size pool, the Etizan fitness center, and extensive wellness and recreation facilities

Project Background

Oxford Integration was commissioned to upgrade audio and background music (BGM) system at Erth Abu Dhabi. The goal was simple: deliver clear, consistent, high-quality sound across the gym and nearby areas. Every zone needed to feel balanced, whether for high-energy workouts or quiet movement through common spaces.

Our team handled system programming, commissioning, as-built documentation, and staff training. Oxford Integration made sure the systems stays performant and gives flexible control across the facility.

The Solution

Separate zones were provided for the gym, entrance corridor, and other areas, allowing independent control of volume and audio sources.

We installed Bose DM6C ceiling speakers in the gym and Bose FS2C in corridors for clear, immersive sound.

Bose DM8C-Sub subwoofers to deliver deep low-frequency audio for workout motivation.

The DSP (Bose EX-1280C), amplifiers (Bose PSX1204D & IZA190), and zone controllers (Bose CC-2D) work together to process audio, power all speakers and subwoofers, and provide independent volume and source control across the gym and corridor zones.

AV rack, network switch, structured cabling, and connectors for organized and reliable installation.

The Result

The upgraded gym’s sounds now moves with purpose. The Bose ceiling speakers and subwoofers are tuned for power and clarity. Every zone matches its intent. High energy inside the gym, calm and welcoming in the outdoors and nearby areas. Behind the scenes, the DSPs and amplifiers keep performance steady. The centralized AV rack and structured cabling make the system clean, organized, and easy to manage.

After Handover, the staff received training so that they can run the system with confidence. The result is a sound experience that matches the quality and attention to detail the resort is known for.
